Ask anyone in Mysuru how they found their last café, tailor or tutor and there's a good chance the answer is "Instagram". The city — known for the palace, Dasara and silk — now does a lot of its word-of-mouth online.
The typical Mysuru order comes from Mysore silk sellers, yoga schools and heritage tourism, usually right before a launch, a sale or a festival post.
A tip for Mysuru: post in Kannada as well as English. Regional-language reels get shared more inside the city, and a few Indian likes and comments under them make the post look local.
Everything works online: create an account, top up your wallet with GPay, PhonePe or Paytm, and place the order. There's no office visit, no advance to an agency and no minimum contract.
